What a Difference a Year Makes for Dog Rescued from Olympic Animal “Sanctuary”

Last month I started writing updates on all the dogs that were rescued from the Olympic Animal “Sanctuary,” in Forks, WA in December, 2013. My first update was about Crockett, a sweet dog that should have never been in a where supposedly dangerous dogs lived.

Like the other dogs there, Crockett was locked up 24/7 in a small kennel with virtually no human contact and barely enough food to keep him alive.

Yesterday I saw a video of Crockett joyfully playing with a new toy. It reminded me of an awful video from inside the “Sanctuary” that showed him spinning inside of kennel due to boredom, frustration and neglect.

Now compare it to the video of Crockett playing with his new toy you’ll understand why so many people worked so hard to free 124 dogs from the “Sanctuary.”
