Seattle Humane Society Opens New State-of-the-Art Facility in Bellevue

A New Beginning for Seattle Humane Society

Congratulations to the Seattle Humane Society for the opening of their new $30 million facility. In the facilities first 10 years, Seattle Humane pledged the meet the following goals:

  • Placing 100,000 dogs, cats, and critters with loving families
  • Giving 200,000 pets medical care, access to advanced medical technology, equipment, and expertise
  • Rescuing 25,000 additional pets from high-kill shelters and communities without shelters
  • 80,000 pets in qualified-income households will receive spay and neuter services
  • 20,000 additional pets from other shelters and rescues will received medical care
  • 1,300 WSU students will receive high-quality, high-volume training
