Parvo warning at Marina Beach Off Leash Dog Park in Edmonds

Yesterday we took our dogs to the Marina Beach Off Leash Dog Park in Edmonds and saw this sign at the entrance of the park.

We saw several people at the off leash park and they didn’t appear to be concerned, but if your dog isn’t vaccinated against parvovirus or has a weakened immune system you should avoid the park.

And while this dog park is meticulously maintained by a dedicated group of volunteers from Off Leash Area Edmonds, I did notice it had several patches of foxtails that can pose major health problems to dogs, so be sure to avoid them.
