Looking for dog-related events or dog activities in the Seattle area? You’ve come to the right spot!
You won’t find a more comprehensive dog events calendar than this one. From dog adoption events to fundraisers, dog classes to support groups, and anything else we can dig up, you'll find it here, all in one place.
Join Pawsitive Alliance and PawsWithCause for a fun afternoon of painting the portrait of a homeless pet AND help get them adopted!
PawsWithCause will guide painters through the process of painting their chosen homeless cat’s or dog’s portrait on canvas using acrylic paints. And don’t worry if you’re not the next Monet, the animal’s portrait will be pre-sketched on the canvas and PawsWithCause will offer assistance to unleash your creativity.
Following the event, each painting will be posted in the community to help promote the animal’s adoption and then the painting is yours to keep! PLUS, each painting will be entered into our portrait contest; the four paintings with the top votes will be made into greeting cards to promote the adoption of homeless pets with credits to the artist-that could be you!
Please join us for this fun event on Saturday, February 5th, from 2-4pm, at the Everett Mall in the PawsWithCause paint studio, in the North Wing across from Massage Envy. Tickets are just $35 and include all materials. Click the link to purchase your ticket and reserve your seat today! (Reduced rate scholarships available if needed, just reach out to us).
Please note, social distancing will be practiced and masks are required; we will be following CDC guidance and state and local governance mandates related to covid safety protocols. This event is for ages 5 and older and all skill levels are welcome; seating is limited and tickets must be purchased prior to the event and presented at the door.
Please share the invite with your friends and family and come paint with us to help the sheltered pets in our community!
Email Pawsitive Alliance’s outreach coordinator at outreach@pawsitivealliance.org to purchase a kit and participate from home. You will select which of the four #WhyNotMePets to paint and then pick up the kit from the PawsWithCause studio; paintings will need to be returned by the following weekend to be hung in the community and entered into the photo contest.
If you have an event you’d like us to post, a suggestion on how we can make our calendar better, or any other question, please email us at info(at)seattledogspot.com. You can also complete our online event submission form. We look forward to hearing from you!
