Walk through Olympic Sculpture Park and Myrtle Edwards Park – Seattle Urban Hikes with Dogs

Been a while! Gonna try a quick outing for those of us that are fully vaccinated, the old standby of a “hike” through the waterfront parks at the north end of Belltown. It looks like it’ll be relatively cool that night by 7-ish, but still a good idea to bring water for your dog. We’ll start by going through the Sculpture Park and then north along the water through Myrtle Edwards Park for 30-45 minutes before heading back as the sun’s starting to go down.
We’ll meet at the main entrance of SAM’s Olympic Sculpture Park on the corner of Broad & Western Ave. There is plenty of street parking nearby that I think is free at that time, plus the park’s pay garage right underneath where we’ll meet.
Even though it’s outside and we should be easily spaced out, we’re keeping this for fully vaccinated only for now. If you did your lone shot or your 2nd shot by 7/16, you’re good.
And if anyone’s up for it after the official walk is done, there’s dog-friendly Pub 70 right there afterwards or my dog and I’s favorite spot, Cairde, a bit up Broad and then 5th.
