Seattle Veterinary Outreach Sliding Scale Vet Clinic

Seattle Veterinary Outreach improves access to healthcare for underserved communities of people and their pets so they may thrive together.
The free veterinary care that Seattle Veterinary Outreach (SVO) provides serves as a gateway to facilitate access to healthcare, housing, nutrition, and mental health resources offered through partner social service organizations for our underserved neighbors.
Out of an abundance of caution for the health of the pets and people we serve, SVO has instituted the following weather  guidelines. Conditions are checked at 4 pm the night before each clinic and updates are made to our website and Facebook to highlight clinic cancellations. We will also notify clinic hosts so they can post on-site.
Clinics are canceled if:
- The daily temperature maximum or minimum is predicted to be above 90 degrees or below 32 degrees Fahrenheit
- The Air Quality Measurement is predicted to be Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups (orange color on Air Quality).
​To check Weather and Air Quality predictions, we use the Air Quality App, available for both iPhone and Android users, and the Weather Channel. Please download these to your phone.
