Seattle Humane is proud to celebrate 125 years of saving lives and completing families. Our work supports pets through their entire life cycle, from lifesaving transfers, world-class veterinary care, and foster families who help pets grow big and strong, to finding loving adopters and lifelong support through our team of experts. Whatever the challenge may be, Seattle Humane is here to help pets and the people who love them. 

The highlight of Seattle Humane’s 125th Anniversary will be our famous Tuxes & Tails gala on May 7, 2022 at Magnuson Park Hangar 30, bringing together Seattle Humane’s cherished friends, generous supporters and community leaders to celebrate 125 years of saving lives and completing families. It has been too long since we were all together to celebrate our beloved pets!

Every dollar supports pets in need. We are forgoing an auction and instead our program will be filled with mission moments, pets of all shapes and sizes, and other fantastic entertainment!

We hope you will join us for our very special 125th Anniversary Tuxes & Tails! This festive evening is our moment to thank you, our Rescue Squad, who impacts the lives of countless pets in need! You won’t want to miss this fun evening packed with adorable pets, including our iconic pet runway show, emcee Michael ‘The Wanz’ Wansley and entertainment featuring the young musicians of JazzED and a special performance by Mary Lambert. We are counting on your support to springboard into the next 125 years of serving pets and their people.

We are looking forward to safely gathering in-person in Hangar 30 at Magnuson Park for our 125th Anniversary Tuxes & Tails gala on May 7, 2022. This unique venue allows for plenty of space between tables as well as a flow of fresh air throughout the cocktail and dining areas. Our plans for the event will adjust as needed based on Washington state guidelines. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you in May!
