Raise the Hoof Fundraiser for WASART
November 5, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
On November 5, we invite you to an online “Behind the Scenes” look at a rescue; the story of what we do in words and pictures.
When a call for help goes out, your financial support makes it possible for WASART volunteers to get to where we are needed. This a night to see your donations at work.
In between, we’ll talk about some really great experiences you can bid on in the silent auction and probably make some really terrible jokes.
From the initial call and asking for enough volunteers for a team to the on-scene organization, we’re looking forward to showing you how we return a dog to its owner or get a horse to its feet.
Now some details! Auction items include:
• A stay near Mt Baker
• Tickets to an online event with King County Search and Rescue Deputy Ed Christensen as he tells stories of his work with search and rescue and takes your questions
• Paella for 8-30 cooked in your own home by WASART members
The auction starts on Nov 1 and ends on November 5, at 7:45 pm, during the event.

WASART is a donation-supported service specializing in technical animal rescue and emergency sheltering. We retrieve dogs who have fallen over cliffs, horses stuck in mud, and many other situations animals find themselves in. We also set up and run emergency animal shelters so people have a place for their animals when they need to evacuate during a disaster.
