Today’s walk will require a ferry ride. we will walk on the ferry at edmonds.
arrive at foot passenger terminal at 8:45 to embark on the scheduled 9:10 ferry. Masks may be required on ferry, fare is $6;10. (please be aware schedule and fare may change, i will update the day before).
This small park just outside of downtown Kingston is indeed a quiet place. The trails here delve into the forest and loop around the edge of the park. Along the way there are viewpoints out across the Puget Sound. A few connector trails bisect the loops, so there are many options for routes here.

We may opt to visit Saltair Beach before or after disembarking/reembarking the ferry (low tide is 2:30)

The park is about .7 mile from ferry terminal and you have to go up a hill. not sure of elevation gain, but guessing 400-500 feet.
Plan on 3-5 miles of walking.
Park your car on the Edmonds side in appropriate parking area. do not park in 3HR only zone, we could be longer if ferries are delayed.
