I love to watch service dogs that help people deal with debilitating illnesses. In June I posted a fascinating video showing a service dog calming woman with Asperger’s Syndrome during a meltdown.
Last week a woman named Shannon who suffers from seizures posted a video of her service dog named Poppy help her during a seizure. You’ll see Poppy lick Shannon frequently during her seizure to help her come around quicker and lick away excess saliva to help prevent her choking.
Good girl, Poppy!
