In case you aren’t familiar with football, kickers use a tee to hold up the ball on kickoffs. Normally, someone low on the totem pole, usually a student manager, is tasked with running onto the field to retrieve the tee and bring it back to the sidelines so the kicker will have it for the next kick.
But that’s not how it works at Boise St. The Broncos use an actual retriever to retrieve the tee.
Kohl is one of a long line of dogs trained to get the Boise St. tee after each kickoff, and bring it back to the sidelines.
He looks like he enjoys his job. Go Broncos!
