KREM reported today that the Better Business Bureau (BBB) put out a warning about a pug puppy scam run by a breeder in the Spokane area.
Morgan Pug Puppies sold a man in Missouri a pug puppy for $95, then told him he had to pay another $300 or they wouldn’t send the puppy to him.
When the man contacted the BBB to report what happened, the organization confirmed “Morgan Pug Puppies is a scam.” The BBB also told KREM that Morgan Pug Puppies is under investigation and it’s waiting a response from the breeder.
If you want to buy a puppy from a breeder, please do your research to ensure you find one that is reputable. Google the breeder’s name, visit the breeder, and never never never by a puppy that has to be shipped to you.
And don’t try to find a bargain. Purebred puppies are expensive, and you should expect to pay hundreds, if not thousands of dollars for one. No reputable breeder would sell a purebred puppy for $95.
