A couple of weeks ago I wrote about Sophie, a German Shepherd puppy abandoned at a high-kill animal shelter and scheduled for immediate euthanasia because she couldn't walk.
The organization began in December 2010 when Shannon Keith received information that beagles who were used for animal experiments in a research lab were to be given a chance at freedom. Their mission is rescuing and finding homes for beagles used in laboratory research.

Tanner is a 2-year-old blind golden retriever in Tulsa, OK living at the Woodland West Animal Hospital. He ended up there because his 2 previous families couldn't handle his intense seizures that caused him to panic and lose control of his bowels. Tanner's vet recommended more than once that he should be euthanized.
Blair is a 1-year-old street dog who landed at the clinic after being shot.
