Houston dog trainer analyzes behavior of dog that bit Denver news anchor on TV

February 11, 2012 | by seattledogspot

This is a fantastic interview with Houston dog trainer Michael Baugh regarding the warning signs that led up to an 85-pound Argentinian Mastiff named Max biting Denver news anchor Kyle Dyer on live TV.

Baugh, who is the Director of Training and Behavior at Rover Oaks Pet Resorts in Houston and Katy, Texas, carefully points out all the signs Max gave that he was stressed out and nervous.

He also notes during the interview that a trainer he knows from Denver was watching the interview and could tell almost immediately that Max was incredibly nervous and likely to bite.

This interview should be watched by every media member who does stories about dogs and anyone else who needs to learn about dog behavior.

Excellent video. I'm going to share this. There's a lot of great advice for people who need to learn how to read dog's body language.
