Bella means “beautiful” – it’s the perfect name for me, don’t you think? I’m gentle, easy to handle, friendly and affectionate, cooperative, and laid back. I’m pretty near perfect!
Some nice volunteers took me on a field trip to several city parks. I was such a good girl – they report I LOVED to meet and greet all the people we encountered, and had no negative reaction to strollers, bikes, joggers or kids, and no issue passing other dogs along the way. I’m always up for a nice walk (I’m not the jogging type though).
Tasty treats and doggie snacks are irresistible to me – I take eats from your hand oh-so-gently, and with my food motivation there’s no end to what you could teach me. According to my previous guardian, I already know ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘shake’, ‘down’ and ‘roll over’. Plus I’m house trained!
The ideal home for me will be moderately active to very calm, with some prior dog experience. Teens and adults would be great. My preference is for human company, so I’d like to be your only pet. I promise once you meet me, you won’t want another other pet! Love – Bella
