Denver is an 18-month old Pitbull mix. He is a friendly, sweet boy who gets along with dogs of all sizes and loves to run in the backyard with them! Denver still has quite a bit of puppy energy and needs a home that will continue his obedience training and does not have small children (his biggest faux pas is being mouthy). Denver is crate-trained, house-trained, and eager to please. He loves to go for car rides! He can’t wait to meet his forever family.
To learn more about Denver or schedule a meet and greet, fill out his adoption application online here.
You can also meet Denver at the Dog Gone Seattle adoption event on Saturday, August 19 from 11 AM – 3 PM at the Wag N’ Wash at 1920 Queen Anne Avenue N.
Adoption Info: Denver’s adoption fee is $450 and this includes his neuter, all vaccinations, health certificate and microchipping. Dog Gone Seattle is a Washington non profit organization dedicating to saving animals at risk for euthanasia.
Animal History: Denver is a very special boy who once had a loving family but they could no longer care for him when his penis bled constantly. They brought him to the shelter where some wonderful individuals networked for his medical rescue and with a lot of hard work secured him placement with Dr. Matt at Vet Ranch. Dr. Matt performed a necessary surgery to amputate his penis and rewire his ‘plumbing’ (so he has urinary construct of a female dog now). See video here. When we heard that Denver had been waiting for a rescue for months we stepped in and flew him to Seattle to find a forever home. He is now happy, health and ready for his forever home in Seattle.
